Registration & Enrollment

Kindergarten Registration

If your child will be five years old on or before, September 1st, 2025, please complete the following information.

3. Kindergarten Orientation will be on Friday, April 18, 2025 at 1:00 pm - 2:00 pm.

New Student Enrollment

Jordan School District schools can process new student enrollments online using the Skyward Family Access system. If you do not have a Skyward Family Access account, please select Temporary Account for New Student Enrollment. If you already have a Skyward Family Access account or have created a temporary account, please select New Student Enrollment. If you have questions on which schools are in your boundary, please visit the Jordan School District Boundary Locator page.   • Please Note: Once you have completed the online enrollment portion, please take the required forms to the school to complete the process:
  • Legal guardian’s picture identification (such as a drivers license, state agency picture identification, or passport)
  • Child’s original birth certificate
  • Child’s unofficial transcripts from ALL previous schools (Grades 9-12)
  • Proof of residency
  • Immunizations

Preschool Services (Three to Five Years)

Jordan School District provides free educational services for children aged 3 to 5 years with disabilities. Eligibility for these services is determined through a comprehensive screening and testing process. To qualify, a child must exhibit developmental delays in one or more of the following areas, as defined by the Utah State Office of Education:

  • Cognitive
  • Communication/Language Skills
  • Motor Skills
  • Adaptive (Self-Help) Skills
  • Social and Emotional Development
  • Vision
  • Hearing

Special Education Services

Our special education services are tailored to meet the unique needs of each child. These services are conducted in designated elementary schools across the Jordan School District and are delivered by a team of special education teachers, related service providers, and instructional assistants.

Related Services

We offer individualized related services to support the educational needs of each student. Eligible children may receive:

  • Speech-Language Therapy
  • Physical Therapy
  • Vision and Hearing Services
  • Audiology
  • Occupational Therapy
  • Articulation/Phonological Therapy

For children whose primary need is speech therapy, services are available in small group settings at Joel P. Jensen Middle School, or at their home school. Parents are trained to implement the speech program at home.

Students Without Disabilities

We welcome students without disabilities to join our program for a monthly tuition of $100. Registration opens in March each year, with seats allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. For more details, please visit the Registration TabOpens in a new window.
